日本四國之行，小豫兒來到了高知縣的四萬十川，以“日本最後的清流”聞名全國，因為純淨的水質，孕育了超過150種的魚類，也被稱為「生命的寶庫」。但是當小豫兒沿著四萬十川旅行時，卻發現這裡的橋，全部都沒有護欄耶！

原來這是為了減輕洪水上漲時的阻力，因為沒有護欄，所以上漲的河水就能沒有阻礙的通過，也能防止橋被沖垮，在當地稱為「沈下橋」。其實在小豫兒來四萬十川的前一天，河水才暴漲過呢！遺留在沉下橋上的樹幹就是最好的證明…

沉下橋是四萬十川最著名的特色，而除此之外呢，小豫兒還要推薦大家幾個遊四萬十川絕對不能錯過的活動！

來到生命的寶庫，豈能不學習如何當個漁夫？

四萬十川仰賴捕魚維生的漁夫數量很多，在日本的河川漁業中名列前茅。

盛行漁業的四萬十川繼承了十多種傳統補魚技巧，豐富的捕魚方式，會依照魚的種類或是水流等改變捕魚方法。技術千變萬化並且深奧，其中有幾個傳統補魚技巧幾乎接近失傳，只剩下極少戶魚戶會使用呢！

活魚三吃沒什麼，用稻草烤鰹魚才是高知的王道！

高知縣的鰹魚料理為全日本第一，用稻草燒烤鰹魚也是全日本獨有，用稻草點火代替木炭，烤成外熟內生，沾上特殊的醋，然後入口，一次滿足二種口感。烤鰹魚的美味就像人們說：沒有登過富士山就不能說來過日本一樣；沒有吃烤鰹魚，就不能算來過高知。

鯉魚旗不只空中飄，也能水裡游！

高知縣的四萬十川是全日本最熱鬧的掛鯉魚旗地點，曾在2005年5月揚起了5283支鯉魚旗，並登上金氏世界紀錄。高知縣用特殊的土佐和紙(土佐為高知縣的舊稱)，讓鯉魚旗能悠游在四萬十川，就像真的鯉魚一樣。自4月下旬至5月上旬(日本黃金週)，以土佐和紙製作之鯉魚旗，或飄揚在堤岸上，或於水中游動，成為四萬十川的一大盛景。
