2008年6月，櫻文去了印尼爪哇島，意外發現了印尼人出頭天的秘密！

 

 

赤道跨過的印尼屬熱帶氣候，孕育出多樣化的物產，千奇百怪的熱帶水果如榴槤、蛇皮果、舉世聞名的爪哇咖啡還有各國製造業的重要原料──橡膠。豐富的物產不但供應當地人飲食、也出口外銷成為印尼人賺取外匯的重要來源，為印尼的外銷市場打下一片天。

 

 

 

 

除了靠老天爺賞飯吃，印尼人本身的努力，也奠定了他們出頭天的基礎。

根據統計，截至2008年7月31日為止，在台灣工作的外籍勞工，高達37萬4千多人，其中以印尼外勞12萬5千人為最多，其次是菲律賓、泰國與越南。這些外勞在台灣從事的工作，又以家庭照護為最多。台灣目前約有12萬名的家庭聘請外勞女傭，亦即每30個家庭便僱用一名外勞，從事照顧病人、嬰孩等家務工作。說不定，正在看這篇文章的你，家中就有一位「瑪莉亞」呢！

 

但是，想要「外銷」國外工作，可不是辦好護照買張機票就可以。為了控制人力資源的出口品質，印傭們在出國前需要花上至少三個月的時間，到幫傭學校進行訓練。訓練項目有語言能力、老人與嬰孩照護、病人看護、烹飪… …等課程。櫻文這次就拜訪了其中一間學校，看看印傭們是如何學會這些技能、她們的背後又有些什麼樣的故事？
