2. 楊桃產於熱帶亞熱帶的水果，具有非常高的營養價值，對於人體有助消化，滋養，保健功能，果汁能促進食欲，幫助消化、治療皮膚病的功效。台灣全年均可生產，但秋、冬季為楊桃品質最佳季節。盛產期南部6月到翌年3月，中部7月到翌年4月，全年中以3月生產最多。產區多集中在中、南部平地 。
