夜市，可以說是美食界的重要戰場，

能夠在夜市裡存活下來的角色，肯定在當地飲食界裡有著不可動搖的地位！

同時，也是表現當地美食品味的超級舞台。

 

 

埃及開羅古城邊有一個熱鬧的夜市，這裡是開羅晚上最熱鬧的地方。

不過比較特別的是，埃及人逛夜市習慣很不一樣，

他們坐定位之後就不會有再換別家店的打算，

這讓準備來夜市大吃特吃的詹姆士和喬喬很不能理解，

沿路各式各樣的鹽酥攤、沙威瑪，還有餡料豐富的熱狗包和埃及特有的甜餅披薩…

香味四溢的讓人胃口大開，

究竟埃及的夜市有什麼規矩？為什麼埃及人都只吃一攤呢？

 

 

另外，埃及有一種非常特殊的小吃叫做「可沙利」，

它出現在埃及的每個角落，對埃及人來說，任何時間來一份可沙利都是最滿足的享受。

 

 

不過，這樣傳統的埃及美味，看起來卻有著濃濃的混血兒面貌，

埃及人把義大利麵條、通心麵和香料米飯混在一起，再淋上香噴噴的番茄醬之後，

就成了當地最受歡迎的可沙利。

究竟這道充滿異國風味的埃及小吃嚐起來是什麼味道？

 

 

 

《詹姆士的美食筆記》

埃及，一個文化古國，一個我從小就知道，而且響往的國家。但是，當我真的到了埃及，一開始的感覺竟然是失望！因為埃及給我的第一印象真的太亂了，它的交通亂，它的街道亂，它的建築物亂，甚至我發現就連文化都是亂亂的。

直到有一天，我無意間看見了埃及人集體做朝拜的情景，它讓我對埃及突然有了不一樣的看法，也讓我開始改變觀點，懂得如何去欣賞埃及人的生活步調。這時我才發現，原來他們其實很可愛，既熱情又有人情味，而且非常喜歡跟人互動，就因為如此，許多的正事反而因此被耽擱延誤。不過，我唯一可以確定的是，埃及人對宗教信仰的堅持，絕對不會因為任何事情，而有所改變。所以我覺得來到埃及，要先了解他們的生活方式，如果他們失約了，先別著急，因為他們不是在朝拜，就是忘情的跟人互動而忘了時間。

至於埃及的飲食習慣，我也覺得相當有趣，由於埃及曾經被古羅馬帝國統治過，所以他們的飲食習慣裡，有地中海國家的軌跡，後來又因為他們開始信奉回教，接受阿拉伯文化的影響，所以在埃及料理中，也不難發現阿拉伯國家擅用香料的蹤影。雖然，埃及人不願意承認，但凡走過必留下痕跡，不是嗎﹖
