這趟泰國美食之旅，我們來到位於泰國南邊的蘇叻府一探究竟，這次同行的還有位神秘嘉賓，號稱台灣料理界的創意料理達人，詹姆士。到底精通日式及西式料理的詹姆士會和泰式的料理擦撞出怎樣的火花？料理創意源源不絕的他又會和城城奏出多麼精采的美味交響曲？
[新鮮生蠔現場敲、大啖生蠔不心軟]
首先我們坐著船乘風破浪地出海，來到了泰國最主要的生蠔出產地，這裡的產量佔了全泰國的百分之八十。既然來到這裡，當然免不了親自動手採集生蠔，採集方法也很簡單，只要手上有一把鐵鎚。這裡現採的生蠔到底是多新鮮？竟然直接用礦泉水去海水的鹹味，就直接整顆大口塞進嘴裡。
自稱是生蠔料理高手的詹姆士，在海上餐廳將要大展身手，可是在材料稍嫌不足的情況下，他又要怎麼以現有資源發揮創意，料理出這道連餐廳主廚都豎起大拇指的「泰式圓潤生蠔粒粒爽」？
光只有美食是無法滿足城城的，美食當然就要配好酒。威風八面的詹姆士再顯功夫，馬上現場使用了生蠔、啤酒，以及其他一些調味，調製出詹姆士特調的「生蠔雞尾酒」。這料理的過程充滿驚奇，入喉之後也是讓城城詫異不已。到底怎麼回事？
[血淚交織捕血蛤、海上料理大車拼]
吃飽喝足我們再度出航，這回的目標是血蛤，但是出師不利，幾回下來捕獲的血蛤寥寥無幾，就連城城的腳也意外被魚刺給刺傷。還好有遇到熱情的當地漁民，送了一大簍的血蛤給我們，否則身心俱疲的我也無力再繼續了。
回到海上餐廳，詹姆士要和主廚一較高下，當然評審就是對任何美食一概不拒的城城囉！
料理達人會以什麼樣的創意來挑戰正統的泰南重口味海鮮料理呢？還有城城用傷口換來的血蛤，又會以什麼樣的料理來呈現呢？

導遊小薇姐說要帶我們去吃有錢人家吃的稀飯，一碗竟然要泰銖50元，這夠當地人吃一天飯的錢。這到底是那裡特別，為什麼要那麼貴？為了要解開疑問，城城還特地到廚房裡看這稀飯到底是怎麼煮的，只是看似平常的做法，竟然讓城城多年來吃美食所累積的經驗毫無用武之地。這稀飯不只是用料非常的實在豐富，吃起來的感覺也和在台灣吃到的稀飯很不一樣，米粒有嚼勁不鬆軟，這又是怎麼一回事？
