Okay I own up it was me who put this on the Iwitness24 site, and I am so glad Archant have picked it up and printed it. To be quite frank I am really disgusted by the state of this river both upper and lower and the river Yare at least down to Surlingham. Whilst the upper rivers are dying through abstraction and lack of rain, the lower rivers are slowly becoming nothing more than an open sewer and to think I saw children paddling in the river Yare just past Whittlingham park in the summer time,.
