幾世紀以來

吸引無數人懷著美夢飄洋過海

傳說在一千多年前，毛利人的祖先，乘坐著獨木舟從太平洋的熱帶島嶼，來到美麗的紐西蘭。

十五世紀大航海時期，荷蘭航海家率先發現了這資源豐富的南北兩大島嶼。其後，捕鲸人、傳教士，紛紛遠渡而來。

1862年，兩位負責剪羊毛的歐洲工人在南島西岸的淘金河發現金砂之後，來自全世界各地的淘金客便迅速湧入，一時之間紐西蘭成了淘金客的夢土，甚至從廣東沿海引進廉價又聽話服從的華人礦工，刻苦地過著淘金生活…

小小的金砂，居然曾經改變了紐西蘭的歷史，有些人一夜致富了，更多人卻失望夢碎的流落異鄉。當年為了淘金，遠從歐洲和中國飄洋過海的移民，雖然不見得圓了發財夢，卻意外成為紐西蘭的第一批拓荒者，開疆闢地、蓋鐵路，奠定了紐西蘭的繁華…

種族的隔閡曾經帶來多次戰爭，但歷經一百多年的互相了解後，毛利人終於舉起和平的左腳、大喊「kia ora！(毛利語的您好)」表示大方的歡迎大家！而航海家和淘金客，也選擇在這片土地上安身立命，甚至把故鄉的傳統代代延續…

包容所有、落地生根，就是紐西蘭的不凡之處！

於是我選擇紐西蘭，成為跨越界線的開端，讓我的創意，在不同的文化裡滋養茁壯！

Who am I? 代班主持人

Daymon Wu。2009年剛從挪威搬回台北定居，是台灣創作界的新銳藝術家。

因為一度從事數位網路商業廣告的製作，因而擅長以媒體廣告、攝影、流行音樂和多媒體，加入細膩的社會觀察和生活體驗，進行自由創作。在2009年台北當代藝術館Parody派樂地展中，創作的〈卓別林〉互動裝置，更藉由形象鮮明、詼諧逗趣的小卓別林影像，和現場互動的幽默遊戲機制，集體傳達了對這位喜劇泰斗的致敬，令人印象深刻！

旅居歐洲四年的生活當中，Daymon不但曾在世界級的英國廣告公司中挑戰自我，與來自世界各地的好手合作較勁；更喜歡利用時間在歐洲各地行腳旅遊，背包客、沙發客、旅行玩家，都是他的名字與身份！
